I was watching this chinese channel at my grandparents for dinner today, and so tired from work, I couldn’t be bothered watching the subtitles.. Then I thought “I wish I know all the languages in the world”. Then I thought, I could put a translator in the iPhone.

The camera could be like a OCR (Suna thought of this as well) where it reads and translates the signs or show the map of where you are, but also could have a GPS to track where you are (if you are travelling), then there would be a menu shortcut to translate into Portuguese or something – with the ability to recognize the language the person is speaking (voice recogn.) or you speak in English, and the iPhone translates to Portuguese.
